That $ucks been painting cars since I was 18 now 64 we have had couple go bad in the last few years I never had this happen till recently. someone said metal prep was maybe the problem I think its part of it the other problem I've noticed most of the new primers absorb water when wet sanded so we dry sand now. new paint is much more temperamental! Nice car good color for it......Dave
Take two clean panels prime both and seal one put it out in the elements and the primered one will rust every time and the sealed one will not, the man who taught me how to paint showed me this in 1955. It did not take very long to see the difference. I NEVER wet sand primer. Frank
Me? I'm not doing shit. I'm just taking pictures. But yeah... grille, headlights, doors, deck lid, hood, hoodsides, the works... it all has to be redone. I think mostly because of space restraints Keith isn't able to get it all in high build at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Excelsior radials. Rad tires that aren't made anymore. We need to talk Coker into doing another batch. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I believe it's still in the primer/body work stages. His shop looks overly busy so it may be a minute before we see it ~ said respectfully, if any one deserves a busy shop it's Keith.
