I met Jerry at Jalopyrama 2019. I had been following his build thread on the HAMB.
He has since added upholstery and other details items.
Really nice guy with an awesome Deuce coupe.

  7. do you have a link to the thread? I think I missed that one...

I've had the pleasure of being up close and personal with this car while it was being built and it is truly a piece of art. Only thing is it's almost too nice to drive but Jerry does put miles on it. Can't wait to see his '34 on the road.

Congrats on the win and Concourse showing!

What ever new endeavor he puts his mind to, he get's from point A to point Z with blinding speed & precision....like the upholstery thing. Years ago I sold him an old Auburn tach with some kind of cup that had no hole for the cable. I was fretting about drilling the hole & making the cut edges look right & maybe he could just insert a rubber grommet or something. I drive home in less than an hour & saw that I got a text with some pictures of the chrome cup with a perfectly centered & sized hole with a smooth rolled lip. I still don't know how he did that magic that fast.

Jerry 'gets it' as the saying goes...right down to the bias ply tires...a truly stunning Hotrod in every sense of the word...and not the first by any means...

He certainly has a firm grip on the Good Ole Days we celebrate here...

Congratulations on the continued notoriety and awards...it's well deserved Hamber @HomemadeHardtop57

    Thanks for sharing it @Jive-Bomber...

Man that is slick! Full of details with out feeling like they have every single hard to find accessory from the 40’s bolted to it. Super nice finished hotrod.

love hearing it is owner built and driven! Gotta go read that build thread!

Agreed. Sometime the line between nicely appointed period car and a JC Whitney poster child can be hard to find for a builder. This is a great example of purposeful restraint.

Great 5 window! The details, hard to find and shop-made parts are ultra cool! Paint color takes it over the top for me.
