    How about a '40 for a change.

Here's a quick one. I don't know that it does justice to the shot of Tony' roadster though.

Hey Geoff, where did that pic of Mick Dunn's (now Geoff Rea) roadster come from? It looks like a Custom Rodder format but I don't remember it from there.

I think I found it on Facebook Peter. I did black-out the flames though.

  8. How that man does what he does at 91 years old is mind blowing to me.

I have been pretty busy of late and haven't had a chance to do any new covers.
Here's one I did featuring Wizzie Scott's Mercury before she owned it.

I really like the feel of this one. It features Peter Vansittart's sport coupe and a '34 Tudor Ray Quon owned many years ago. Although I did play with the tudor a little bit.

On this cold miserable Saturday afternoon, how about one with a channeled '32 roadster.

Yes I believe so Peter. I think Hodgie from Ballarat owns it now, as a hi-boy. Always loved the look of it when Ray had it. Color and chop just worked for me. In that image, I lowered it and played around with the sizes of the wheels.

That would have been taken at the Street Rod Nats in 1979 when it was just finished by Ray.
    Alway loved the mismatched wheels
Greame Mudford,s 40 coupe next to it

Caught up with a bunch of old friends recently. Whilst visiting one of their Facebook pages I came across the image used on this cover. I am sure Shannon won't mind me using it.
The image is just so representative of the many cars and friends that visited Rita and Tony over the years when they lived in Port Fairy.

Snooping around in Facebook this morning I came across this shot of someone who over many years had a big influence on me.

If Peter Vansittart was to build his sport coupe again and put it on the road firstly in primer, as he did many years ago. Perhaps it would sit more like when he rebuilt it and painted yellow.
