Event Coverage The last okie twist-off!!!!!! Aug 6&7, 2010

At the world famous 66 bowl.

Due to circumstances beyond our control (and because nobody in the club hit the powerball recently), the 66 bowl is being turned into an Indian (curry) grocery store. So, this is the final year of the show at THIS bowling alley. Now, let's get onto what's going down for this year. Just like last year, we're having a car show, hand made trophies, 19 different bands with 16 hours of non-stop music, back-to-back gasser burn-outs, kustom-kulture merch vendors, awesome food, bowling, broads and beer. New for this year is the communist engine blow raffle (pay your $2 and write down how long you think the engine will last), Adam the first real man http://www.adamrealman.com/ (He swallows swords, eats fire, drives a nail into his head, etc...), Chester the clown http://www.chesterandcrew.com/ (I can GUARANTEE you I won't get within 50' of the clown).

Vendor load in starts at 10am. Carsand spectators can start loading in at noon. If your club wants to park together, they need to show up together our parking was really cramped last year and Don "The Ballkrusher" will, no doubt, be packing 'em in this year, too. I know you're asking yourself "Self, how can they put a price on this much fun?". Well, that's easy. Friday is $10 for an armband and saturday is only $15 for an armband. If y'all promise to show up both days, we can sneak an armband out to ya for only $20. That's a $5 dollar savings for those of you not to good with math. Also, just to show you that we aren't a giant bunch of a-holes, those armbands are good for re-entry, too.

Sammy, this year has been the shits for doing anything. If nothing else, Bonneville is the must-do, since I'm financially committed to it right now. I've missed all but one local event this year. Like a giant shitstorm.
