Umm...probably not... I just don't have the room and my Model A is my one true love, the only one I will ever keep. Tman, I'd make you a sweet deal on her.......

Thanks for the nice words guys. More pics in a month or so when she is black.

You can't keep 'em all Abone... I think as long as you go into the build knowing that you probably won't keep the car...

  4. Wow!! What brand of black paint do you use?

I agree, Like them better than the 40's Front end just looks simpler and understated.

Man, this thread sure pops up from time to time...

The Merc was the third car I ever painted (the Stude was the second), so I use what the paint store guy tells me to use as I don't have enough experience to know any better.

The Stude and Merc were base/clear Limco Supreme Ford Raven Black. Limco is BASFs house brand. About 300 bucks for the whole "kit". The 39 will be the same, and will be black in a week or two.

Here is the Merc with all the glass and stuff...

Gary. I LOVE your car. There were two cars I had in the back of my mind when I was putting mine together, yours was one of em.

its going to look killer in black, but if i would have gotten it to where you had it in primer i probably would have just finished putting it together and enjoyed it like that
