I remember hearing about the owner years ago from guys in the Modesto area... guys who worked for Windfield... apparently, the owner was a bad ass.
No surprise, really... I mean, look at that fucking thing. You would HAVE to be a bad ass to build something like that.

I could be wrong, but I believe it was Lew Thompson's 1956 F100 that was selected as Truck of the Year at the 2003 F100 Supernationals in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I happen to be at the show and thought Lew's truck was way over the top for the time. Below is a link to an article that covered the show. A few pictures can be seen of his truck.
