Great job. You know what they say "hate to see her leave but love to watch her go". That came out badass. You definetly inspire. Look forward to progress on the 39'.

  2. Very nice job... That car turned out awesome!

  3. Nice goin, Jeff. I loved the merc but the one I really loved was the henry J.
You didn't possibly get any merc ideas from Brad, 'BlackMerc, didja??
See ya at the drags next summer and I want to see 11s from the model A.
Get the side of the model A fixed yet from your encounter with the semi?
Can't wait to see the 39 build. Please post your progress as you go, ok?
    Here's a photo or 2 of Brad's 51 merc.

That is one of the most incrediable transformations I have seen. To take what you started with and end up such a beautiful custom, painted black no less, is just amazing, truly amazing.

You built what has got to be a top-3 Mercury in my eyes. That is fantastic. I could not have sold it. I would have had to enjoy it for a year or so first.

So ... who did you sell it to and why? I guess I missed that thread.

Would it be possible for you to fix the links to the pictures in some of your past threads? I have been gone a while and missed most of your build threads.

    Wow!

I would have added on to the shop before letting that go....

...think of it....nice showroom...finished floor....juke box goin'....bed in the corner because the wife kicked you out of the house and everytime you look at the merc you forget the wife.....

    I know, I know...I'm whipped too!:D

I dragged home a smashed '50 coupe, and I showed the pictures to a friend of mine. He asked what the car would look like if it was built. Your car is what I showed him. It's a perfect example of it's breed.

I'd be sad to see it go. Hope your uncle drives it.

  24. I'm wiping the tears from my eyes as I type this!!! HATE to see it go. You took a rusted tomato can and made a piece of art out of it! Can't tell you how impressed I am with your talents.
Did you sell it to your Uncle,or are you one of those "special" nefews?

If you don't mind me asking, how many inches is that chop.I am about to start a 51 merc project myself and that is the exact profile that I would like my car to have.In my opinion that is the best looking chop on the hamb. Thanks for the pics and all of the info.
