Man, what a job, nice work. I also vote for no chop. That thing sits just right as it is. I'd say spray a topcoat and drive it like that until you're tired of no chop, then chop it. Keep us posted.

I do a lot more lurking than posting, but I had to log on to add another CONGRATULATIONS to the chorus. You really have done an amazing amount of high-quality work. Love the grille, too - nice and simple. I'll also cast one more vote for not chopping it. These days, an unchopped Merc will stand out more than a chopped one.

  19. Chopped Mercs are pure wheeled *** but theres something 'Girl next door' ***y with the lid at standard height.
Man that would be a hard call, slice or not?

No matter what your work is outstanding!

  24. Reminds me of my roadster.Everyone was saying you gotta be nuts!! Well after 8 YEARS and alot of midnight oil, anything can be done. Hell if they can put a man on the moon, building a car should be a snap.Great pics and congrats on doing a great "Resurrection" on a great car....Visit www.timebombs.ca and check out what I started with in the beginning. I know what it takes to pull this off.Well Done
