Customs The Mild Custom Transformation, mama's 55

  1. I believe I'd try changing the calipers and brackets side to side and to the lower front. That will keep the E-Brake cable pointed in the right direction. Looks like the bleeder may be below the line with caliper mounted so remove it and place a spacer between the pads till you get things blead then install the caliper. Sounds a little involved but may beat cutting and welding on the frame.

  2. After looking at those tail lights we know who the real Kustomizer in the family is ;)

The brake light treatment is pretty slick and thrifty. Looks very similar to the 59 Buick lenses I have in mine. Ride height will be perfect when it settles some.

I thought about heating it up and compressing the side of the frame with a socket, make a nice smooth pocket. Not sure how thick the frame material is.

  5. What I've seen over the years from Dimples and Divots in structural supports is that when the unit itself get's a surprise impact that Dimple is the first place of collapse. I try not to give a Frame rail a place to do that, heaven forbid it should ever get tapped in the rear end.

If it gets hit that hard, my back will be the thing that collapses.
