Yesterday, after making a couple welds, I spent 3 hrs missing one of my welding groves, finally found it right in the middle of my bench right in plain sight! Other than myself and one nectar crazed bumble bee, no one had been in that garage all day. I spend more time looking for tools that I just used, than I spend accomplishing work! LOL

 

Oh Lordy, I remember building the dog house for our Scotty...

I would put down a pencil, then 5 seconds later it was gone. I'd get another pencil, and look for my tape measure. HUH? I'd get another one from the bench, then reach for my hammer, and it was gone too.

As I come back from the bench with another hammer, I see little Scotty, struggling out the back door with a 12" piece of 2" angle iron in his mouth. I followed him to his little doggie bed, where I found my hammer. pencil, tape, screwdriver, angle iron and a 6" carriage bolt.
