Okay, so I'm spending far too much time on the net tonight looking for vintage footage to play with. And here's what I find...

Prelinger Archive of Car Culture Movies

This has got some awesome vintage stuff in there as well as some hot rodding from the late 50s. Definitely worth a look!

that stuff is really cool! I only checked out a few but I will have to watch more at work tomorrow!

 

I was browsing it a bit while the Road Runners movie downloads (grrr, DSL in the evening) and they have a burlesque clip, old dating and etiquette films, all sorts of crazy stuff! Have a field day, folks!

Also, while you're at the site, check out the 1939 (New York) World's Fair. Color (handheld) movies of a stroll thru the midway. Surrealistic! Also, a lot of ******* ladies, with various period excuses. Don't miss the ladies in the "zoo".
