After procrastinating long enough, I finally got something done on the hot rod. I bolted the 59A flathead to an S10 5 speed and got it put in.

On a side-note, what grille shell do you all think would look best? I am torn between a 2" chopped 32 shell or a 28-29 Model A shell.

or 32 grill color matched to the body with chromed or red insert, but the 28-29 would be kind of cool and a little different then what everyone else is doing right now..

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm leaning toward the 28-29 shell like this car:

I bought the yellow car off of the HAMB with a lot of quality work done on it... I wish I could take credit for it.

    Next up:
    grille shell
replace the 6.00 whitewalls with 7.00 rear, 5.50 front blackwalls
raise the rear about an inch for more suspension travel.

Way to go on the engine drop! Glad to see it's a flatty!! I like 32 shells...

Maybe also put back some of the stock firewall so that you don't have so much dead space above that block. Maybe round the opening or something.

Firewall and engine looks like a Volkswagen driving into an airplane hangar door.

I know it all takes time!
