That's one of the reasons Henry went to the 8 hour/$5 day... The work on his ***embly lines was so brain-numbingly boring that it led to high absenteeism and worker turnover. The 8 hour/$5 day was his incentive for employees to stay (there were strings attached to the $5, however)
