Post up the best hot rod/custom events to attend in 2019.
I’ll start with a shameless plug.

Hot Rod Hundred

 

AutoRama, Back to the 50's, NSRA 50th Nats

 

The Jalopy Showdown at the new location, Lincoln Speedway. Pray for dry weather.

 

I haven't attended the NSRA Nationals since '88 and making my plans to go to the 50th. HRP

 

Apparently the Good Guys organization is coming to the York, Pa. Expo Center in August. Might have to check that out.

 

Hot Rod Dirt Drags and Hot Rod Hill Climb both in Colorado!!

 

I would like to hit the Meltdown as well.

 

The Best of the Best is the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion with non stop Nostalgia Drag Racing at Bowling Green KY, Thursday, Friday and Saturday the middle of June. Get your hotel/motel reservations early or forget it.

I'm stayin @ yer house, don't need no stinkin reservations LoL.

 

I'm signed up for Deuce Days Victoria and would like to make NSRA 50th. They haven't had too many NSRA events in the NorthWest and I'm a lifetime member, we made the 25th. The wife has a trip planned too so I hope there is enough in the piggy bank.

 

Which ones are in the middle of nowhere west Texas?

Steel in Motion, Union SC.in spring. Hot rods and rock and roll! Run What Ya Brung, Reynolds GA in fall.

 

Yeah the Lone Star Round Up in Austin is huge and one of the best going I hear. Will finally be going next year!

 

Rodder's Journal show at Pimlico... oh, never mind.

Wait, there's Jalopyrama at the Carroll County Ag Center Westminster... oh, nevermind.

 

Most anything that is not a park and sit event, where we won't have to refinance the house to get there, stay there, and participate, and is within a days drive from home.
That probably eliminates several events.
Like those Hot Rod 100s! WI & St Louis fall under the days drive from home. Gene

Wisconsin Hot Rod Hundred 3rd Annual 18 May 2019

 

Like Redo32 I am signed up for Deuce Days in Victoria. Room is already paid for and now I have to get the car on the road to make it. I think my friend down the road a bit is taking his chopped 32 Coupe that should be finished by then. He is the one that got sideswiped by a Semi on the way back last time. We will take the speedster.

 

The Western Md Rod Round Up. Labor day weekend, at the Clumberland Md. Fairgrounds. Camping, Rod jousting, swap meet, free food, sweet corn roast. What's not to like! Did I mention the mountain views!!! It's my favorite not to miss. Ron.....
