That is all it needs. Will be a great family cruiser with just those changes and needs nothing else.

Kirk someone building a Willys gasser will want that grill or keep it and add some corvette teeth to it and change it up once in awhile. BTW they got good $ for those grills. Cool car love the Squarebirds

Nice find Kirk, I've always thought that those birds were overlooked but never complained because that just keeps them somewhat affordable. -Yours looks like a real beauty.

Your note on the oil regurgitation is a bit concerning, hopefully you have it covered? -maybe a talk with the FE experts will point toward a cure.

On another note, Wasn't there a squarebird featured in a mid 80's pop video? "Broken Wings"? The guy throws the old bird around while trying to find his way out of death valley.

  12. That's a great find Kirk!... but there's always room for mild improvements :D

I had a later T Bird that did the vapor lock thing too. All it took was a tug on the metal fuel line that goes from the pump to the carb to move it further away from the hot engine block and it went away.

Always liked those square Birds, looks like you got a nice one there.

Common guys, let him lie to himself for at least a little while. We all know he'll get all these delusional thoughts up in his noggin and before we (or he) knows it, there'll be a bitchin custom 'bird out there.

Congrats on the new 'bird KIRK!

New rear springs would make it lower in front. Nice Bird.

That things sweet. I never cared for the square birds until I saw Billy F. Gibbons Mexican Blackbird, now I can't stop looking at them.

Yep, so far so good. It goes in to the tranny shop today for a once over. I think it's just the linkage out of whack.
