OK, well we signed the lease on the new building! We will be having a GRAND re-opening party...and a "HELP US MOVE OUR **** THERE" party! The later will include free beer and food and possibly a band that night!

The Grand re-opening party will include a band, food and drink and discount prizes...possibly a small car show of ALL types of cars...We dont have the exact dates yet, but the "HELP US MOVE OUR **** THERE" party will be in about a week!!

Here is a rendition of what the new shop will look like when painted and done!

Hey, I like that old-school look!

I didn't know there were any rocketeers (tm) in that area of the U.S. Did you see those two cheap rocket engines on eBay that aren't far from you?

I like the name and the design. Kinda a 40's retro look to it. COOL!!! Hope you guys get plenty of business and advertising. Now you need to set a early 50's Olds in front of the shop to complete the look. [IMG]

The names been since I opened it 4 years ago, but the building was built in 1944 and owned by the same family. Was a family business since 1916, but they wanted to retire...so we got the location. I just somd my olds, so we'll have ta park something else out there. The sign wil look different im sure, but thats DollarforDollars department..im about as artistic as a fart, so.

Were excited, nervous (BIG move for us), and waiting on Mr. BANK to get off thier ***, but all in all, im ready to get the HELL Outta the curretn space...thast for sure.

    Flamer, ill take that beer!

Thats GREAT news! Congrats! Got an address and phone number for those that might need to stop by when in the area. [IMG] I love to stop sometime, check out the shop, and get a few photos of Big Olds out front.

    How far from Charlotte?

  17. Mike,

I just saw this...congratulations!!! Doubt I'll be able to help on the move...the spare Bonneville's been hogging the garage a month now, and I need to get it out, so we can get the good driver back in the garage before it gets real cold. If it's a few weeks down the line, I might could help, but not for the next couple weeks...sorry.

On the plus side, since the Bonnie's a spare, Tammy OK'd me selling it to put the money in the '38...I might be able to help your shop another way...

    Again, congratulations on it!!!
    Steve
