Good looking ride, I miss my 57 ranchero. It was one of my favorite cars. What motor is in it?

Not gonna keep it, im on a car burnout. Its got a chromed 292, electronic ignition, otherwise stock, drives nice has a little blowby. Its got all the kids stuff full airide, with remote, noisy tunes, Its a head turner, gonna take a break from old cars for a couple of years and start over with a better attitude. I thought buying a couple of nice old cars would do it, not really. Im gonna get a late model that doesnt need any work by me, every weekend. Like a late model caprice wagoon or some other scooby ride.

Hate to say it, but you'll have a lump in your throat when its gone. Buy a beater late model commuter and store it for a bit. Otherwise you'll be back with a new project in no time [IMG]

  7. Very nice lookin' car. You did it right and should enjoy the spoils of building such a nice ride. Drive it this summer at least and take in the compliments.

That looks bitchen. I wouldn't do it. I love the 57 rancheros. Those are my favorate rides. I was looking for a ranchero, but needed the extra room for my 2 kids. So I ended up with an uglier 59 custom 300.
Thanks for next weeks computer wallpaper.

  16. Dude....come down from the ledge. That thing kicks ass. Buy yourself a lame ass daily riceburner, park the Rancho in the garage. After a month of driving a Hyundai, you'll be glad you kept the 57....
