some great lookin boxes here - I just picked up a 64 last weekend - first chevy Ive ever owned (probably guess by the handle what I typically do) but the 48 will be a while and I want something on the road - and Ive always loved these trucks!
will get a shot up here in the next day or two

I have two, the first was just a junk 62 SWB without a motor and missing most of the floor so I stuck a whole 98 S10 under it. The body is mounted now and just needs the front end hung.

The second is a 63 that will donate the missing parts to the 62. Funny thing is, it came with the custom cab package with the polished grille in PERFECT shape, as well as a new polished stainless bed strip and bolt kit and buckets of new LMC parts. Its almost too nice to part out, but I need the windshield and a bunch of other parts so part it I will.

My 65...looks like the long version of Fidgeters. Needs a serious attitude adjustment.

OMG!! I can't wait! I am just salivating looking at the start of that.

  18. What are you thinking about for a windshield? (I see the section you took out in the background)
Have you found one that matches the width already?

CTN - thats a great stance - assumin thats bagged, right? I'm trying to figure out the lowest I can get without frame mods and keep it driveable - would like that same raked stance you got rockin though!

  20. I didn't really get a chance to chat with anyone. I only managed to squeeze a short visit between other commitments. My life has ADD
Hopefully I'll know about the next show before the day of.

Thanks. Yes the truck is bagged with 2.5 dropped spindles and 2 inch lower A arms in front and 3 inch blocks in back. The only frame mod is the c notch.

These look like the 68-69 Mopar centercaps that are freaking hard to find...or are these aftermarket caps? They don't look like spidercaps from what I can tell...anyone know what they are?

Actually they really look like aftermarket caps, just like mine, except when i bought them there was only the spinner and i added the bullet my self, the spinner comes off if you want and can put just the bullet in its place like the 2nd pic. I think you can buy them w/ the bullets instead of the spinners anyway.
    try: http://www.petepaulsen.com/Accessories/Caps&Trims.htm
thats whee i got my smoothies from w/ the knock off caps, if theres no sign of those bullet caps just make'em like i did.
Hope ive been of some help, i kinda remember someone else askin the same question years ago when this thread started.
