They are a direct swap and depending on the condition of your factory springs, will likely lower the rear 3" to 4". A set of TJ rear factory coils in the rear of your truck along with some 3" blocks will leave you about an inch of travel between the axle and frame. The TJ coils give a nice ride, but they are softer than the chevy coils and won't ride as nice with a big load in the bed.

That said, I have the TJ coils and 3" blocks. It looks good, the price was right, and it's a nice ride. Check it out...

  6. Looks like clown shoes, funny, ridiculous. Around here the only people who put that type of rim on their rides are...never mind. As long as they pay me to line 'em I ain't griping.

put the blocks in between the trailing arms and the rear, like on a leaf car.
the coils mount from the frame to the trailing arm.

You'll also have to get some new longer U Bolts made. I got some made at a big truck shop for $40 while I waited. The good news is you only need two instead of four like on a lot of vehicles. If you're anywhere near handy, you can make your own blocks out of 3" square tubing (for 3" of lowering). Just cut them to length and drill holes for the U Bolts.

Love your truck. It's soooo clean. I know you've got all the accessories, but I don't see a dash clock. What's up with that? lol.

Does anyone have any tips on replacing the door glass rubber and the window glass channel?

I have the pieces, just looking for some 'how to' information or helpful tips.

Lol, ok, ok. You win. I've got a different dash clock that goes where the ashtray is or the heater controls. I pulled it from the '63 cab I stripped. Have you seen one like that before? I'm not quite sure it's correct for the truck. I'll get a pic.

Just finished going through all the pictures! Nice stuff. Some out of this world modified to just stock! Great venue!

  24. If you put all that stuff on there, it must have taken you a long time to find it!

I have a tissue dispenser that you should probably get. Not that it's any big deal, but it's something.

Embarrasingly enough I have yet to install my Cool Pack Air Conditioning Unit, therefore I'm running out of space under the dash for the tissue dispenser. If I found the other Litter container that straddles the transmission tunnel, I could put the tissue dispenser in place of the litter container bag that presently hangs beneath the glove box. I'm looking for the Original location for mounting my Spotlights. Template or measurement anyone? Unity did not supply the mounting bracket to GM only the spotlight. DCP supplied the correct brackets.
