The big pics look fine to me, but I don't know how to post small ones...:D:D:D Great truck by the way, I like the black and gold engine treatment, nice to see something unique.

Slow. I just installed a bear claw latch on one side now I have to do the other. Seems like I am doing only half the truck. everything done is in the right side.

AH! wouldn't ya know. I got the side exit exhuast on the other day which toned down the sound a bit. 14 inch bullet mufflers. Gt-500 X-pipe and side exits sound pretty damn good! Then the trans and throw out bearing started to howl!
Well it looks like I might as well install the NV-3500 5 speed. Has anyone installed on of these? Mine is a 60 with the hydraulic clutch and bellhousing mounts.
It seems like a shoe in. I have some side motor mounts to weld in when the bellhousing is taken out. I have to make a 90 degree bracket for the slave cylinder and reposition the tail shaft mount.

Thanks Jason! I have better pics, but they aren't scanned or still in my camera. The truck doesn't look all that great up close, but it has been painted a long time now though. It really needs to be redone, but that prob. won't happen anytime soon.

Thanks! You can almost see the bondo crack in the hood in that first pic. LOL.

It's lowered 3" in front and 6" in the back using drop coils. It rides great. Wheels are Coys C5.

Bear claw latches are on my list of things to do. I'm tired of the door swinging open when I go around a corner.

That's not good. Plus the bearclaw latches work so much smoother. You don't have to slam the door when closing it. :D

How about putting together a little tech post on how you did this? I've got an extra set of bearclaw latches and my doors don't shut the best since I installed the new door seals. Sure would be good to see some more pics and get a little advice before I start cutting.

I'm already doing a build thread on another forum. Check it out. It's everything I've done to the truck so far. When I do the bear claw latch on the drivers sider side, I'll document it there.

It's called "1965/73 Cheap Build Up

I looked at my thread a little, and I really need to get back on it. My New Years Resolution is to work on customers cars 4 days a week. And the rest of the time as much as I can on mine.
