Preregistration closed at an record high this year.
It should be interesting to see if the actual attendance is strong.

  2. I'll be there Satuday and Sunday. I really wouldn't mind if there was less cars... maybe that way I could see them all.

regarding road closures in Wisconsin. STAY AWAY from Jefferson County! I-94 Westbound from MKE is detoured. There is no place to cross the rivers in Jefferson. Fort Atkinson is terribly flooded with both water and traffic. It is a disaster zone. If traveling on Hwy 12, take Cty N West from Whitewater (third light) and stay on it all the way to I-90 at Neuville. Neuville has lots of flooding, but the bridge is still open. My advice, avoid Jefferson County at all costs. We are swamped. See you there on Friday and Saturday.

I'll be up there vending all weekend in the Progress Center building---debuting the new Norwell Equipped line as well---come by and say hi.

Also interested to hear of any road closures or problems in Iowa as I'll be heading up I-35 all the way

You will be good to go, although there always seems to be 1 or 2 construction slow-downs once you hit MN. They love the roadwork up there.

Expect major issues with 35W around the fairgrounds. Hwy 280 is currently the 35W detour. This past week they decided to shut down lanes of 35W (for work) on the north end of Hwy 280, resulting in closed lanes on 280.

Are you going to our house first or the fairgrounds first? if you go to our house first youll be fine cause youll stay south of all the ****, if your going to the fairgrounds first take 35e to 494 like your going to our house then go up 52 north (i think 35e by 94 is messed up right?) then 94 west to the fair grounds, pretty easy, not to far out of the way.

Good luck getting through all the road work...and any one who's car may be tipping the "legal" scale, beware-Johnny Law has been out in force lately. I will be there for sure, havent missed one since 1987...P.S. gas in the area is running about $3.95 FYI

I’ll be vending in the Grandstand building. I have a great deal on a Magnum polished stainless steal hairpin kit if someone is looking for one.

Does anyone know if south bound 35W is open to the Cleveland exit when coming to the fairgrounds from the north? Thanks Brian

If traveling from Milwaukee or areas immediately East of Jefferson and need to get around all the road closures: Go down 43 to East Troy and take hwy 20 West. It tees into Hwy 12, continue West. When you get by Whitewater, there will be three stop/go lights (be careful). At the third light, go left (west) onto Cty. N. Continue straight for approx. ten miles. You will have one stop for hwy 26. Keep going straight. At hwy 59, take a right. You will come to Neuville and hit I-90. From there, you can figure it out easily. This will an hour from the posted detour.

  22. I guess i'l have a car there after all. I guess you can swap a big block in 4 hours.....
