    First off i gotta say.........................

Holy shit! I didnt sleep last nite thinking of the wonderful thing we did for Andy. Then i come back from my little girls soccer game and see you guys snapping out the goodies like there is no tommorrow.

I have to say, i have been a part of alot of organizations in my life. But the kindness put out there by a bunch of hard ass hot rodders like yourselves is just about as good as it gets. I get overwhelmed just reading your posts telling Andy to keep up the fight, i can only wonder how he feels.

So here we go.................................... with the already offered goodies.

Doc. for the wonderful model a that Andy is now the proud owner of.

And this could not happen with out some of Andys new friends who has kicked in to get this to happen.

And yes the build will indeed be on the rock! A couple hamb members are living here and im sure that will be all to happy to nail this puppy!

    Thanks folks

I will post what we need in a few

    Regards
    Leon

There is a flathead already, there is a pic on one of the threads, I think the one that says it's official hambandy is a hot rodder. It's him standing next to HIS flathead.

So feel free to add to the cause if you have anything at all that could piece this together.

like a lot of you i have a stack of various front axles (stock '33, stock '41, and a couple of aftermarket dropped), front springs (A), and rear springs (T & A). someone decide what's needed and if i have it i'll pony up.

I know it's a ways off....but would love to contribute by providing any pinstriping...maybe pieces/parts that could easily be shipped - striped - then shipped back for final assembly.

  12. I will donate a stock axle with spindles, juice brakes and I will also throw in a set of rear juice backing plates. I know these are too hard to ship so I will bring them to the Hamb Drags....If this will help, let me know! I can post some pics. Don

I have a front spring (T or A, don't remember) and a Posie's 40 Ford front spring that can be used as a rear spring to get it lower. Shall we bring this stuff to the drags?

    I'm totally broke.

But I have an 80,000sf warehouse of performance parts that I get a killer deal on.

I can lend my discount to the build for any parts I might have that you can use. We sell Accel, Aeroquip, Auto Meter, B&M, Barry Grant, Clevite, Comp Cams, Crane, Eagle, Edelbrock, Federal Mogul, Flaming River, Grant, Hedman, Hooker, Hurst, Lokar, Mallory, Manley, Moroso, MSD, QA1, Pertronix, Powermaster, Richmond, Russell, Stainless Steel Brakes, Weiand.... 250+ product lines in all... but that is a good cross-section.

I've got a smooth old dodge box with column and wheel I would be glad to donate. Not sure if it will work but if Boones says it will work I will send it in. It has a 4 bolt flange and I have a ford pitman arm on it that needs to be heated and straightened for it also. let me know!

Just remembered I got a full set of steering arms with the box which will make the whole steering setup if he has drilled ford spindles. I am not real "up" on the old stuff but it came with the front end when I bought it (its the round spindles 37-48 I think)??? all drilled for tierod ends. Its his if he can use it. Later, Rich

    Leon

And this is the information Andy gave me last nite.
And it is funny that most of the stuff he mentioned is what we have donated! Very funny..........

He is chopping his "A" 4-5 inches and painting it flat black with red tuck interior.Open wheel on wires with w/w tires and a 32 grill up front. His flat head with carbs up windshield height.

Sooooooooooo a few things we will still need.
    Over flow tank
Fuel tank.............i may fab one in our shop
    dizzy for flat head
    pedals
    spindles
    w/whites..................coker here we come;)
    32 grill and shell
    headlites
lite perch or some kind of mount

since seats are big i am gonna look for a new substitute...any ideas? gotta be bench and old looking.

As i hear more i will post.............or as you guys come up with stuff left off the list....please mention it.

And as of today Andy is still floating on air (chris said 1st time andy has been up beat since news of operation), and still is scheduled to be operated on Aug 4th

Not old looking but a dodge caravan middle seat is a perfect fit for an A and cheap ($30 buck around here). With proper upholstery, it'll look great...there was a thread about it awhile back and I think Rolf has one in his coupe.

OK, when I get home I think I can dig up some headlights.

I will donate my nos offie head light stands. Rob.

  27. I've got a couple of banjo rear ends kicking around, as well as other types if he might want to use. 8 inch 10 bolt, etc
I'm sure I have some front juice brake backing plates, maybe some brake parts laying around.
I can bring a school bus bench seat (more old style) or a caravan one too.

I can get them to Bonneville.

  28. I've got an old escort and a chrysler sebring convertible back seat assemblies. If either 1 will do I'm in with a possible relay to the drags.

94's went out this morning. I included two different styles of choke linkage as I'm sure Andy will want to run a choke on those cold Canadian mornings.
