    Love the doors painted up !! My model A sedan actually has my gramps. original phone # on it from the 50's!!! And this truck, is one I helped build for a buddy, and it has a old harley shop that he worked at , in the 60's !

    You could check dafont.com. That lettering was don by Ron Hernandez btw.

    This is a great thread I'm toying with the idea of my grandfathers old propane business as a logo or a farm logo I think there are enough speed shop logos out there.

    unfortunetly,i have NOOOO artistic talent:mad:.
    they say that lettering is a dying art,after looking at this thread,i ain't so sure.good job guys

    I was lucky enough to find an "ole timer" sign painter who did my doors. When I asked him about doing them he said; "I haven't been asked to hand letter anything for about 15 years, everyone wants vinyl now."

    I used to work for Speed's, that is pretty close to their logo. Here is an old photo of their shop truck from when they had a station.
