Pretty funny they wanted my jalopy for a photo shoot for Wired magazine. High tech meets low tech?? The article was about a computer animation firm, but they used the car for a prop element in the image. Anyway, it was a rotten, drizzly morning for shooting, but they stuck it out and hopefully got the pic they wanted. Who knows if it will make the cut for the article, but it was still kind of cool to see my baby "on the set"! It will be interesting to see what they got when the article comes out... BTW- sorry if I've posted too much ****/ pics about my car lately
[ QUOTE ] BTW- sorry if I've posted too much ****/ pics about my car lately [/ QUOTE ] WE will tell you when to stop posting pictures of traditional hotrods.
Jay, That is cool. I hope they use it. I would like to go for a ride in your car next time you come up. I would like to compare ride quality with my heap. Give me a call, David BTW, The windsheild angulation looks good.
I'm going to give the car a pre-Paso tear down next week or so, and rebuild the STIFF rear spring. I'll take you for a spin after that, since I care about your internal organs!
[ QUOTE ] Hey Jive, What rear tires are you running? Thanks, Phil [/ QUOTE ] From a previos post that I saved..... The fronts are 4.25" Ford rims with 6.00 x 16 tires Rears are 4.5" Ford rims and 7.00 x 16 NOS Firestone truck tires
The magazine just came out--- Its the June issue. I tried to post the picture here, but the image is too big, even after I sized it down a million times! Oh, well..
Very cool Jay. I posted a thread down a little bit today. I received the new issue of Wired on Monday and saw it. Chris Nelson Kansas
