Technical The old Bias-ply verses radial tire debate again, with a twist.

    Tire pressure can make a world of difference; my 1960 VW weighs about 1800 lbs, and I run 185-65 15's on 15X6 wheels. I keep them at 22 psi in the front and 32 psi in the rear. My '95 Saturn SL2 has the same size wheel and tire combination but weighs a little less than 2500 lbs...I keep the tire pressure around 36 psi in the front and 32 psi in the rear.
     
  2. I'm going to scrounge up a set of inexpensive radials & rims and take her for test ride.
