    Hello,

The 1935-36 Fords have a place in our arsenal. The roadster pick up styling has been in the top two hot rods for my brother and me. We needed a car, truck, station wagon to transport various parts and wheels/tires.

The trunk and interior of the 58 Impala as a tow vehicle was not going to get it in the long run. So, we had already planned on a 55-56 Chevy two door station wagon, but that fell through our plans. Then, talk of a panel truck was nixed as too large to maneuver in our tight, narrow driveway. We still liked our friend’s 34 5 window coupe and almost bought it for me.

The style is the first step away from the style of the swept back racy 33-34 Ford models. As in most designs, similar style in some parts allow a little throwback and cost effectiveness of the parts warehouses. So, in making a nice 35-36 Ford Roadster Pick Up, several colors and old school looks seem appropriate. Plus, it would not be something that was so popular as a Model A RPU or any later version of the Ford hot rod lineup.

A new top design so as not to feel closed in and give a much better side views when driving. No blind spots with the top up or on, if it is a one piece California Top. Plus, the sides would be easier to cover if inclement weather popped up on the Westcoast.

lowered for those folks with very low ideas and styling. Still with a 292 SBC motor + 671 GMC supercharger.

  8. Yeah Jeff, I just got up, so here's an oldie from me. 20161005_211858.jpg

  9. I bought this Harley Superglide FXE new and have been riding it for the last 48 years. After a couple of years I decided it needed a bit of a custom touch on the tank so I got out the pinstriping brush and this is what I came up with.

Well, since it's the "old" Friday Art Show, here's some scratch art I did in high school.... if a C2 Corvette isn't HAMB appropriate, feel free to remove it and I'll post something else....
