Photos taken yesterday at a good friend of mine's house and his dad's house. My friend will part with the 1946? 1947? Ford pick up and misc parts. Ignore the ranger front clip under the cab. It is just sitting on it. He has the frame and many other parts. The top of the cab does have a severe dent. I did not see an engine.

I am friends with his dad as well, but he thinks he wants the old cars to set until he dies. The shortened 4 door to roadster he got when he was 18 (now in his 70s). I do not really know what all is there or what this stuff may be worth to someone. If there were to be some ballpark figures or firm offers, I would be glad to go see him and see how attached he really is. I think the values may make him change his mind on at least some of it.

I know the pictures do not show much and I am no expert on this era of cars so what you see is about what I know at this point. You will notice a roadster body sitting on its firewall in one of the coupe pictures. There are two coupes in the shed with what appears to be at least one set of doors and fenders for both among other things. Again, I apologize for the poor photos; taken with my phone in cramped quarters.

If anyone is interested in the Ford truck, send me a private message for the guys phone number. He is ready to sell (no title).

These jewels are located 1 hour from San Antonio.

"Not For Sale"; I used to work with an emergency room physician, whose wife (a physician also), had a sign made up for his old beater Datsun truck, "NOT FOR SALE". It seems wherever he would go with the truck, someone would ask him if he wanted to sell it (?). The sign was meant as a joke, but less people bothered him about buying the truck with the sign on it. He also came into work one day with a tire pressure gauge in his smock lapel pocket to, "check patients pressure" (another joke). Thanks for bringing up that memory. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Oh, I think some of this can be had. I just had no idea of how much to offer on any of it. I bought two of his off-topic "not for sale" cars last year.

At the very least I thought someone could easily identify what I am seeing. jipp is correct on the shortened touring (the owner was proud of his custom work).

Hey man, no offense and I am often wrong so my wife tells me, but this post smacks of thinly veiled spam. Just saying.

Based on some of the responses, it seems I need to clarify the point of my thread. The title must be misleading for those that didn't read the post. I posted the photos of some good hotrod parts and bodies that might be available for purchase. The owner did tell me they weren't for sale, but based on some of the prices I have seen for fenders and good doors I suspect he might part with some of them with a firm offer. I have absolutely no financial interest in any of this.

Like many of you I hate to see these pieces "sitting and rotting".
