I know we’ve all done this, but I was talking to my son this afternoon about a project that needs to get drivable, and told him, out of the dozen or so cars that I’ve had in the last 20 years, there are two I wish I’d kept. I traded my ‘68 sbc powered Triumph Spitfire for a 318/727 ‘50 Dodge Club coupe. Almost rust free, drove and stopped really nicely after I had done a ton of work to it. Reliable, comfortable, shoulda kept it. I decided that I needed a “real” hot rod, and traded it for a ‘23 Ford “T bucket” that barely ran, and turned it into a fun and reliable roadster. I miss this 46 chevy... drove super good and lot of cool body mods.. took it to best muffler shop and had it bagged... drove it once after that... guees I'm really not a drags body guy...
My '64 Sport Fury 426 wedge. Been looking for another, but prices are goofy now. Bought it for $75 and brought her back to life.
