Anyone remember this car from back in the day? Do you know where it is now? It was at the Grand National Roadster show last year and looks better today than the day it was originally built by Wally Olson of Fresno. Have a couple of photos that are attached that you might find interesting. I found it in a garage and took a couple of photos that I thought everyone might appreciate seeing as to how it looks today!! This car is a real time capsule.
It was featured in a magazine in the last 6 to 8 months. possibly in RJ or Rod & Custom. I can't recall.
Rich Riddell in Cali rebuilt the Widow. He has since passed away. Pat, his wife, has been trying to sell the car. I haven't spoken to her in several months, so I am not sure if it has sold or not. I can get you her phone number if you are interested. She was asking 150,000.LMK Doc.
Its was a awesome dress up he did it super tastefull. He also did a nice dodge touring on an underslung chassis.
I believe it was... I think they added a note about Rich's passing and showed a pic of him in another, less-flashy (but really kool)roadster. for some reason I want to say it was a 28 Dodge.
Ya, the really cool thing for me was I met him at the CHRR two years ago when he first had the car done and bought the original 8 S-W gauges from the car that he said were too far gone to restore. I will restore them and use them in my 34, 5 window coupe. Lucky me. I got all the gauges that were curved glass winged script for a great deal. Neat guy and cool cars he built.
