The truck is coming along, I enjoy making brackets, fabricating,
building a roller, even fireing the engine the first time, then it all comes apart for the part I dread..........bondo, prime, prep and paint!
I don"t know if I can keep enough enthusiasm to get past this part
    this time!
"Put it on, block it off - put it on - block it off - put it on - etc."
Seems like so many wasted weekends! God, I hope it's worth it!

Let me guess, you're one of the guys that enjoyes wireing a car right? Bodywork is the most relaxing part of any build IMO.

That's my problem also, and I keep misplaceing parts and can't find 'em
    when I need them!

  9. I'm with Modified...I would trade wiring and/or just about any other part of the build for body and paint work!

...The truck looks great so far, keep it up!!!

Man I feel your pain. I hate body work myself and thats where I'm at on my 50 Sedan Delivery. Lots of body to work too. Been at it on and off for weeks now. Good news is it looks like one more coat of primer and its ready for paint.

I HATE BODY WORK. The process is life shortening. :eek:Welding fumes, bondo dust, liquid chemicals, paint vapors. Did it for years. The thought of fiberglass work still makes me itch. Cough, cough, pick your nose, cough some more, swirl some kleenex and ream your nostrils, cough some more, and whoa-La! Beauty beholds, in the form of a magnificent painted surface.

HHMMMM.... You notice I haven't offered to drive up and help at all yet, either? There is a reason why everything I own is kinda rough and primered! Seriously though, if you do need more hands, give me a yell.

We are meant for eachother. I love body work, painting and even wiring. I dislike the engine and trans part. Let's trade cars and finish each others jobs haha then give back

The easiest way to do body work ( after you have the panels fitting right, and all metal work done ) is one panel at a time.
