I know some don’t care for the spare, the wood or the side curtains however I think it’s a package deal everything seems to compliment the whole package. My opinion and a dime in Ryan’s novella will buy you a cup of joe. I really like this car everything works for me. Dan
You described the exact thing I thought of when I saw the first photo of this car, I just couldn't place it into words as you did, and my brain couldn't process the imagery association, but it was on the same track. What a gorgeous car.
I like that it's woodgrained but, well you decide. Here's a 34 3W I'm just finishing. The last one is a factory photo of the real deal.
I agree . . . best looking roadster of them all - bar none. I wanted one since I could spell HotRod - now I just need to find time to build the one I have.
33/34 Ford Roadster.... they are the best looking... Side curtains don't bother me.... but rear spare tire is always a must go... My 36 3 W , has it removed...
I was biting my tongue a little because I simply do not like this car. I struggle to find anything at all that I really like about it, except that it would be a good start for something else. But I do think that it's fair to say that it is 'A' perfect '34 roadster. It looks very well built and they nailed all of the little stuff that is "correct" for this kind of build.
My favorite will always be John's well engineered and perfect roadster! Here's John accepting top honors at the 2022 Gathering At The Roc.
I like the green one but when I read the title of the thread this was the one that popped into my head….
Here’s a picture I took of the Patton car at the SR Nats at Detroit, ‘72 @dln1949 , it was extremely well detailed and nothing looked out of place.
