Hey, Just for giggles does anyone think they could make the green purple? And do a black fade around the purple?

I'm not good enough for the black fade, but here's the purple.

  17. OK Mr. "My New Version Of PS Has A Buffing Pad Tool"! I thought that little Falcon from a couple pages back might look good with some black scallops kind of following along the body side sculpting.

Well as it turns out, my old version of PS has a "House Painting Tool" so I thought maybe I'd spruce the place up a bit while i was there. But it looks like it's going to take two coats and I ran out of paint so I've got to go back this weekend and try to finish the job.

Providing, of course, that the weather doesn't get too bad.

holy smokes that ranchero concept is wild! You think maybe you could throw some scallops on the four door and play with the color a bit?

  19. Have not seen one of these on here, but yet there are over 100 pages...whew.

I love the green and white top, any ideas?

I did the lowering...cant change the paint, something I need to learn...quickie training on it? :)

  20. Yeah, it´s a bit bright isn´t it! The monitor on my laptop makes everything pretty dull. It all looks really intense when I see it on my work PC. Makes it tough to know what I´m doing.

Hah! I almost asked somebody to do the house (God knows, it needs it). We've been thinking medium-dark blue with white trim (and a red-brown in some places you can't see in that photo), but that two-tone green looks pretty good!

man, that looks kick a$$ ok, you think maybe you can throw some wide whites on there so i can see what they look like? and make the scallops a silver/white (flake) or a different shade of green? oh and a bell flower tip? I really appreciate you chopping up my photo. I promise this is the last request :D

Well, I gave it a shot. I had a hard time making the scallops look right. Starting the scallops at the front of the cowl might look odd as they'd have to "bounce" over that pronounced character line on the cowl. So I started them just behind that character line.

BTW, there's something terribly wrong with that building in the background..

  26. Wow it looks like its time to call my insurance agent cause somthin just ain't right, my shops droppin in a sink hole! After being certain about this color for a year, now I think its wrong, wrong, wrong. Thanks for all the hard work you did, boy I am thankful I saw the car now, before I painted it a color I did'nt like. Any ideas on color ? maybe lighter pea green? I have black interior going in so I am open to many color options. Please see if you can class it up lose the t bucket pipes, please replace them with cone headers. thanks again. Kelly

  27. No problem.

WWWs might not be right, but it´s not really like you need scallops to make that car look long and low either!:D

Post some pics when you get her done.

I wasn't sure if you wanted the scallops in the shell or not (I'm new around here) so I hope this is what you had in mind.....
