Hey all, I'm a newb and this is my first classic. My photoshop (or whatever is on this cpu) is total arse and I was wondering if any of you ninjas could give me some paint ideas. This ride is all original, w/a dark green interior. Im thinking of lowering it a bit (no bags) but my funds and skills allow for minimal metalwork. I have been kicking around ideas with a buddy, and the trim and body lines are messing with my usual ideas. Any help/ suggestions/ advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Can anyone raise the front end about 6", lower section white, top section light blue? With the cutoff being the trim line. Thanks

Not to worry guys, I've done it myself. Just a quick one, but I got the idea I was after.

Thanks bobj49f2 ! Now all I got to get to do is get the work done, between the wife and kids, I've been busier than a one legged man in an ass kickin contest!

One more request, could you swap the colors around? Thanks, Bill

  20. Heres an idea for you, just keeping it simple.

Minus a point for "excessive use of antennae in an automotive application".
Plus five points for the correct spelling of "Arse"!:D

Hey, thanks a lot James D--I really appreciate the time and thought you put into it! Those lines are really cool. You don't have to go and do the actual work on the pic, but do you have any suggestions regarding color combos? I've kinda been stuck on the flatz silver and green and I'd like some fresh ideas. The original interior is too nice to change so I hafta stay with the dark green there.
That's a riot about the antennae! The previous owner did that. Hey, that leaves me 4 points ahead anyway. Thanks again for your help.

  22. The colour it is looks good, but I would probably go for something darker. Dark green like the Sam Barris Merc perhaps? That´ll look good on just about anything.

Sorry, think I may of posted a while back, but no response. I just ordered 670-15 Firestone 3 1/4" WWW, I really could use some help with picking out what I want to do with the wheels. My options are leaving hubs and putting stainless ring around edge, doing full moon hubcap, or taking the current hubcap off and butting the bullets with dress up lug nuts and trim ring. If anyone could photoshop it with either picture itd be great. I would try myself but Ive seen good things here, and I do not have the software. I may even like seeing others with a few inch lower. Thanks Alot

Yeah, I kicked around the idea of a darker green as well. With the dark green interior I was afraid it might be too much. I was wondering if there is any way that you could show me what it would look like dropped a couple of inches. If you can get around to it, whenever you get around to it, I've got all winter. Thanks again!
