I think I saw this car years ago at a KKOA SledScene East show in Gettysburg. It had been featured in the old Classic & Custom magazine, if it's the same car. Was built by a father for his teenage son, who didn't like it since it was a four-door!

I agree that the rear quarters are a bit heavy, but it flows pretty well. I tried several approaches, but most ruined the flow. It really needs a curved glass rear window or it will look claustrophobic with that heavy chop.

I left the taillight as is. When using a 1956 Clipper lens with the chrome surround and white lower lens, the bottom of the surround should be parallel to the bumper top, just as it is.

Anyway, here is my best attempt, though not what you asked for. I shortened the rear roofline a few inches and lengthened the rear deck to compensate. But were it my car - I think I'd leave as is. I kinda like the look!

    Thanks for your rendering, Dave.
I agree with the above 100%. Unfortunately, such is not the case with this car, as can be more clearly seen in this photo.

Yikes, I see what you mean now! Could not tell from the original photo. Thanks for the explanation.

I am thinking of different colors for this car. I am leaning towards a dark maroon color..if someone could photoshop this car in a maroon color without the red wheels(this has to change and quick) lol...thanks in advance.

    Cool, lucky!
If the car had looked like that in 1958, maybe the kid wouldn't have been so disappointed, four doors or not!

    CraigKrage,
Do you have any other pics? The first one is at a weird angle and a little out of focus, and the 2nd is too small. I think that's what has been keeping anyone from working on it so far. I'll give it a spin if you have another pic.

Like the running boards! It's a little lighter green than that...

I don't know what the design you want on the roof so it is plain

Just for fun, I took Memph's rendering (nice job!) and shaved some trim.

Then I extended the front door back to meet the rear door opening and eliminated the vent windows. This opens up the greenhouse and visually lengthens the whole cab. I wouldn't chop the top, as I think it would ruin the new profile. But these cars look sharp with an old-style flat sun visor.

Sorry I didn't have a good angle photo to use for that. But I have included a shot of a '41 Ford with that style visor.
