You´ve really cleaned up that car - I don´t think I could bring myself to give it anything other than an arrow straight paint job. A real deep purple and metallic mauve here.



And maybe, you could add Packard side chrome to the side cove. It just looks slightly empty as it is now.

 

If you were going to add trim, I think 58 citation trim would go more naturally. also gold-white- wins every time. *drools*

 

I dunno... it´s a bit clumsy IMHO. It´s a big old chunk of metal to be sure.
(Great - now I´ll have the Edsel posse after me...)

 

I like the idea of an Edsel retractable hardtop, check out the little fins on top of the fenders on this one... too cool!

 

JAMES you fuckins SLAYER thats raw. And Jynx, thats exactly what im thinking. I want to keep the paint simple and smooth. You guys got my brain going. I think the car is a perfect canvas for anything, its really smooth ans the lines beg for awesome paint.

 

I think without any chrome, a 2 tone paint job does break up the large panel.

Anything else you can think of? Maybe it needs a little something on the body. thats a lotta white space.

jynx, you're killin it man. I dont know, do whatever looks cool. I wish I knew how to make things like this happen on photoshop. I would just get baked and sit there all day, haha. Lets see some other solid colors on the body other than white. Lets get 1970's to all hell here, haha.
