Agreed. That's the top-of-the-line Buick for '40; it deserves such a classy treatment.

  12. Some photochopping I did about 15 years ago of my '51 Cadillac. I was just learning how to use the program.

Alright guys I have a new request for you photoshopping wizards. I recently painted my 53 and decided I'm going to go with an early 60's mild custom theme. I was wondering if anyone could add some simple scallops onto my car (just the outlines of them in white/off white). Also I was wondering how it would look lowered about 1-2 inches maybe more what ever you think looks good.

Don't know if this is too much to ask, but I could use some help with this Mercury. My request is to make the whole car seafoam like the top color, add a spear to the side on the front part of the car, remove some of the bubble off the bottom of the skirt, and maybe straighten the front edge of the skirt add some trim to the front edge of it ala 53 Ford or so. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

NOTE: The awful side mirrors have now been replaced with early 50's Ford units and Appleton spots have been added although I don't have a photo of that.

This isn't a photo shop but will give you an idea what it will look like. The 53 Ford piece is
bigger then what I thought that it would be. Trying to figure our what I want to do with
the bottom edge. I plan on running 51 Merc rear skirt lips on mine. Love the way they
    look.

This one is photo shop’d and kind a the direction that I’m going..

    Good luck with the project.

Thanks a lot James D and Mick. Mick, I stole the idea for the skirt trim from your car to begin with. Thanks again.

I thought that it was a kool idea, I'm just trying to work out what to do with the bottom
of the skirt. I will keep ya posted with my progress. Please keep us posted what ya plan
to do, we may be able to help each other out.

I'm not usually a fan of the big skirt, but I think you nailed it on that one.

  21. ok, so at reno's rockabilly riot, this 63' buick lesabre caught my attention, now i want one. Iv got my eyes peeled.

could someone photoshop some supreme wheels, skinny white tires, with a candy apple red paint where the blue is and gloss black on the roof??

in real life, id like to have the roof gloss black with metal flake black flames, but i figured that might be too hard for the way the car is sitting in the picture.

    keep the bellflowers please.
    thanks!

Thanks, this is the good thing about photoshop you have a good idea where ya going
with the project. I will end up using "53 Ford rear quarters for the skirts looking foward
    to getting it done.

Also love the new wheels. I think instead of the white I will do a cream color!
    Thanks again

The perspective on the front was way off from the truck :(. I kinda used too much blur I think, then warped the image alot after I merged everything.

I posted this under a new post trying it here. Anyone able to put some cheater slicks on the back and front runners on the front. Just trying to get a perspective on it. Im thinking hurst cheater slicks on back and 560 15 front tires all on steelies. If the angle is wrong let me know I will take a new pic tomorrow.

I think it looks a little off, even if it was a 2 door (love the 4 door hard-top) Lakes or even bellflowers would be not bad, or something with a curve in them rather then straight out. But that is all in my opinion.

Also I have to say it's cool to see you kept it salmon, most people would paint it blue or some other unimaginative colour if it were their car.
