black body green roof just seems obvious, maybe with a fishnet pattern in a darker green.

 

I am going to need some help with some aero work on the Flat Cad Bonneville car. I would like to keep the ideas off the net for now. I know what I am wanting to do but I am hopeless as an artist. I have some crude sketches. I would like some better illustrations. If someone is able to assist me, please pm me.

I thought it was cool Virgil had a link for parts up so fast, I was looking in the Alberta Kijiji and coming up with nothing. I know a guy that had several hanging in his rafters last time I was at his shop about 10 years ago... not sure if he still has them though.

MOguy, you photoshoped my car satin black with chrome changed to bright green. Can you change the bright green to like a forest green? Thanks eric

Thanks for the Crown chops guys!!!!! There's a coupe model from factory, but the sedan body being longer I possibly couldn't pull off similar lines. There's also as Crown ute, so no point making it into one.

I've always thought that the Crown's had an early 60's Chevy look I'll keep looking at rooflines until I find one that really stands out.

I don't mind the look of the 1963/4 Ford Galaxie Fastback.

The Crowns did come out with a V8 Hemi knock off But these things are SOOO hard to track down, got a few mates asking around the rodding scene here If I can't get a 4V (3.4L V8) I'll just drop in a 1UZ out of a LS400.

 

Thanks Brtsweet, that gives me a pretty good jdea. We're wondering if the green top is too much, maybe we'll do just a panel or scallops. I'll probably keep the whitewalls though.

I want to give credit to Moguy for the incredible job he did helping me with the flat cad aero work. I had some ideas but I wanted to see what the car would look like with the changes. We worked back and forth most of this week. I do not know for sure that these changes will take places but this is what we have planned. The front track of the car will be 10 inches narrower and will have a fiberglass front that may look something like this photo shop version. There are a lot of unusual aero problems when changing a landspeed car and we have tried to adapt the flat cad for possible 200 MPH.
