Can someone take this and remove the turn signals or move them down further. Try a different style too. And then take the grille and do 3 vertical bars evenly spaced that are a little wider? Maybe add some floating chrome vertical bars in between that aren't as long such that there are 3 full length, vertical bars and 5 floaters.
Also, any other ideas to make this ducklin into a swan. I've been thinking about this face for some time thinking that I know it can be made better. This one is not my truck but I thought it was a good one to start with.
    Thanks in advance!

Nice job Sancho. Thanks. Now can you make those 3 bars wider?

Nice Squablow! Love the turn sig placement. Looks sweet and probably not that much work to do.

Oh, Fellas, I like that a lot! It's far better than these two I found searching Google:

When they chopped this red one, they leaned the back window forward. I like the more "square" feel of the photoshop versions with the normal rear glass angle.

An on this one, I think the missing rain gutter at the rear has an unappealing look. I can't tell if they leaned the rear window forward here or not.[IMG]

    Thanks again for your input!

  13. [IMG][IMG][IMG] I know it's not hamb friendly but could anyone please take this pickup and paint the body and wheels the yellow and the roof the green? I have been given my late grandfather's 1972 GMC and I am trying to see what the truck could look like in it's original colors. The truck pictured is not his but it's similar.

TheMoose, as long as you're interested in playing with the colors, I'd love to see more of your magic!

I have something lighter in mind. Like I mentioned earlier, I live on a long dirt road, and my cars are always dirty with dust on the rear quarters. The dust hides best on lighter colors.

I'm curious to know what the chopped and delivery-ized taxi would look like with the pale green on this impala, and a white roof. I'm thinking about white on the roof, just from the rain gutters upward. I also wonder what it would look like with a cream colored body and a metallic gold roof.

    Here's the impala:

    Thanks TheMoose!

As much as I like the mint green/white on Impalas, the taxi needs more chrome to make it work.

  19. I decided to give the shot on the trailer a try...Did one in root-beer for the heck of it and shaved the door handles.

Can someone make a 2 door 1959 impala sports sedan? Like the sport sedan roofline but the 2 door body?

Wow, that has to be the best looking '59 Impala on the planet! Almost...
...Just think how good it would look with wide-whites and a bit of altitude adjustment!!!

  26. thanks @themoose ! Those look great! I like the root beer one too, I hadn't really thought of that as an option! Sorry my pictures weren't much to work with, I should have gotten one before we rolled it into the garage.

  27. Mind if I go on a bit of a rant here? There have been a lot of talented people on this thread, gladly helping to fulfill the dreams of tons of people. They do it without expecting anything, sometimes not even getting a word of thanks. That's okay, most of them do it for the pure joy and creative outlet that it provides.

But there seems to be a trend lately on the HAMB where requests are made and the end results are posted on other threads without any consideration for the folk who created it. In a few instances the poster even has claimed themselves to be the creator of the work. And that ain't right.

There's no copyright on most of this (not that a copyright would mean anything to most people) but giving credit where credit is due is the LEAST that you should do. If you're going to post an image from here and say "here's a Photoshop" then you can type "here's a Photoshop done by <whomever> over on the Photoshop thread." Otherwise you're a dick. Don't be a dick....

  28. Just playing around, lower with wide whites...and.... Oh well, what can I say...I like red;) low and red.jpg
