Lol! Thanks mad fish and rot n custom. Both look great. And yes, I'm eventaually gonna lower a little more in the
Rear but that would mean a small frame notch and pumpkin clearance and I'm not up to that just yet. Much appreciated!

    Peanut,
Thanks for the compliment. If I can change a Chevy into a Lincoln with only a roof adjustment (and not even chopped) I might have to start looking for a '41 Chevy!

It definitely would be the only one out there that I know of!!

  4. No matter what color I tried the 2 tone isn't doing it for me. Here's one example of two tone and one with one with mono tone. IMO mono works best....

Nice paint job. You even made the body work look good. Hope it looks that nice when I get around to finishing it. I just picked up another set of 5 spoke mag wheels similar to what I have on my 56. Always liked their timeless style.
You may be right on the mono. The gray is dark enough so I figured a darker color on top would probably not work well. I then considered maybe a lighter color like the off white or ivory the old Nomads had. The way the body lines are, I thought I could run the color down the B-pillar, along the top body line under the rear windows and follow the line down by the taillights and even have the tailgate the same color as the top.

Here's a more finished version with two tone and one with a bit of a lower stance just for comparison

I do not think the two tone works very good on the wagon, single color for me! Gary:rolleyes:

  8. OH Yeah ...I forgot to include the more finished version in mono- tone..

Moose, a buddy is thinking of thin(1") whitewalls on his T. Can we see what it might look like? Thanks!! Paul
note: car will be full fendered with hood, white interior and top. Just in case you have time to add these parts. DSC01581.JPG DSC01594.JPG

DSC_0628-vi.jpg 64606.jpg 74mustang2.jpg Moose, I was over there last night and I think he's looking for a solid, non-metallic red, with no orange. Just a solid red that's darker.

  15. I'm not much of a two tone fan, sometimes it works, and I was wondering if the colors from Rays 56 in avatar could work.
You could at around with a 56 style of side trim.
I'm still waking up, so this is probably a stupid idea, haha.

Lets please refrain from asking for modern billet wheels to be photo shopped. This is the Hamb for crying out loud and large diameter billet wheels are against the rules here. thank you

  22. Jeff...I tried what you suggested in a rough rendering and it didn't work too well so I didn't do a final version. I think the monotone holds the upper hand.

    Dear Moose,
How do I delete the oversized billet wheel button in photoshop?

  28. Mr Madfish,
I have found that there several different ways to accomplish said task but by far the most effective way is to simultaneously hit the B I L E T keys and while holding them down hit the the computer power button.
    Works every time:rolleyes:
