Not that my opinion matter much, but why do you want it to look like a Ford, when you can make it look like at traditional Volvo rod? [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Hi guys,
I shall like scallops on the front of the wing and also on the back wing of my '54 Ford, only one on the top in green & rear too in green as the roof, can make that?

Make the tour of the headlight and of taillight then leave on half of the wing before and back and why not a touch of scallops in my hood & my trunk

volvobrynk thank you for sharing the pics.A hot rod 544 does look cool.

madfish I read an article about the blue 544.If I remember correctly a father and his son bought it and went on a road trip.

themoose that pic really helps me see it doesn't look as much like a 48 as I thought.

  11. But I do like the fenders! Fenders/no hood would be my choice.

Okay themoose and friends we are getting close to paint time on our Mercury project and I would like to see if you would be able to do your magic and show us our first color scheme. I realize I am not giving you very good shots of the car but it's all I have. The third photo is from the internet. It looks very similar to what Don wants except he does not like spots or skirts. I know it's not much to work with but you do magical things ;).

The color combination is Arctic white DQE31121DAL by Ditzler to the belt line. with Ford 3181H Light medium Pine covering the body.

This car has been discussed quite a bit in another thread, can I see this car without the flames, with a chrome grille and a chrome bumper, with a tail-down stance, and with a tire and hubcap more suited to a late 40's style custom? I don't have the skills to pull it off myself.

  19. Hi everyone.
Is there anyone who would have a go at turning our 1950 Olds 88 red? After looking at a million cars that have driven by we'd like to go with a red found on modern Range Rovers called 'Firenze' red. The car has had some chrome taken off and the rear fender radiussed. A few shots of the red and the photos are in an 'album' of mine called Photoshop elements if anyone wants to have a go.
    Thanking the universe in anticipation.

That Olds coupe looks really good in that red color. I would have thought that the radiused rear wheel opening would look terrible but seeing it like that I think it looks great, proved me wrong.

A change in wheels and tires would help this thing. (I used Moose's photoshop as a basis)
