Flamed48 From what I've read Chip Foose is credited with this roof swap idea.The drawing I posted was drawn by Steve Stanford.Then Scott Sullivan, a custom car builder, started the project.I've seen pics of the corvair roof being test fit on the chevy II.I do not have those pics saved.He used the curved top section of the corvair quarter panel on the chevy II.This info is from memory only, I seriously considered doing the top swap myself.

 

Moose a friend suggested I ask if you will round the bottom corner of the windshield and frame.Also suggested rounding the angle between the windshield post and door.You have helped me so much with this I know you must be getting tired of my requests,I hope not though.

 

Moose. Or ? I’m dreaming of my 54 Ford COE with (don’t laugh). 3 headlights or maybe 4. Anyone care to dream it up?

Yeah I know about the drawing, I was wanting to see it in a more real life situation, I’d love to find a nova to do the swap cause there a corvair sitting in my town asking for help

Corvair assemblies were just made for that grill...

 

I was directed to this thread to get an idea of what my truck would look like with a mild chop. I appreciate the help in advance and that is a 4 four foot level by the door if you need to scale it. Thanks!
