  4. Just read Ryan's article about the Niederkrom coupe, and now I am officially in love with the Toyota TRD calvary blue color. Can someone turn my Uni the same shade of blue?

Here's an approximation based on the fact that the color changes dramatically depending on whether it's in the sun or not. I'm assuming you wanted it in a flat color.

Nicely done! I'm a glossy kind of guy, but that does look sharp.

  8. madfish, would it be possible to see it glossy?

I would like to see the rear of the top brought forward 3-4", through the quarter windows.
Would anyone care to tackle this?

Slanting the pillar would help too i feel. The problem is that (aside from it looking suspiciously like it´s totally made of bondo) the roof is too flat. If it had a nice curve to the gutter line it would look a lot nicer and less squashed. Think you could find another roof somewhere?

    Thanks, James D.
I agree with you on the B-pillar. I'll carry this over, for the owner to see.
You and the rest on this thread are a valuable asset to the HAMB, and much appreciated!;)

I tried just shortening the quarter window, with post intact. It's an improvement, although I prefer some of the other concepts for this car that have already been posted.

    @'Mo

Since you're doing all that metal work, did you give any consideration to just removing the posts? And maybe taking some of the "bulk" out of the grille? Just some random thoughts.
I'd keep the plastic tray on the rear fender though.

Probably look better with both posts removed. ;)

    'Mo,
Here's another thought. How 'bout a '48 Fleetline roof with "adjustments?" Might be easier and I think it was mentioned elsewhere one was available. As for the grill, '48 Fleetline grill w maybe just a roll pan under it. ugly 1 new hat and teeth .jpg

    Wow! Thanks guys!
It's not my decision, but I'll re-post all for the owner to see.
All these suggestions should at least serve to stimulate the creative juices.
Thanks again, one and all...Some great ideas here!

wrap a piece of 3 1/2 tape around the pillar would be the easiest, lower to the tape disappears.
