That is a pretty stout 6 in that coupe.

 

Not much going on today so I figured I'd take your advice and have some fun with your future for a tail gragger. Maybe not what you had in mind but it was indeed fun

the previous owner added them in the early 80's. i think i remember hearing it was a law that all customs had to have them or something, i don't know. at least they ain't fake, they have handles on the inside. oh, the shame.

Hello Photoshoppers!

Looking at changing up our 59 ford country sedan...

Would like to see what it would look like woth some chrome Astro Supreme wheels, but with the wide whitewall tires, and a also a darker green metal flake roof.

Also, if possible could you please make the tops of the front fender match the light green on the hood/tops of doors? It's currently the darker green like the rest of the body...

Not sure which pic is better for a Photoshop so I posted both...

Any help is appreciated!

May I make a suggestion? Maybe go with a thinner white wall. The wide whites look a little chunky in my opinion.

 

Yeah I was thinking that too... Just got new www on it that's why I figured give it a shot...

Any chance @themoose you could try it with a skinny Pinner white?

That was my first reaction, nice gasser material.

 

ok guys I ran the numbers and my Thunderbird is factory black, with red interior. So I am thinking I might keep it that way with a twist or 2... Could you try gloss black top and wheels, satin black body and because I am on a tight budget painted bumpers-Im thinking a nice mild grey keeping it a rocket era feel. I know its not the ideal but I just priced beautiful bumpers and almost threw up from the pricing!!!

It occurred to me that since you're painting with three colors, you could do a simple "Watson-like" paint job using the
gloss black and grey to accentuate the flat black.

 

If your gonna run Salt Flats, then you should run them on the Salt Flats.

 

Haven't mad return runs in that direction in a number of years.

(Maybe over at the set for "The World's Fastest Indian".)

 

Im a patina lover, On this car I would make it run, sound good, complete trim, wheels and low stance.
