I never gave the visor any thought, I guess that's the danger of photochops!:p

SO, how about just raising the lip of the visor up? I think it looks pretty good, doesn't stand out to far.

...I also had to put some caps on your wheels, hope you don't mind, she's just too pretty of a ride to run around without laces on her shoes.:D

James, you are indeed the man - thank you sir! :D I'm really liking what you've done in the second pic, loosing that rear quarter window give the car a whole new feeling - though I guess the metalwork for real in that slant could be interesting!

Thanks. Great idea for a project BTW! I have a pic somewhere of a Fordson (Pop) van slammed right down on slightly widened stock wheels. It looks great. I scaled the wheels down to about 15" on this - they´re 16" as stock, right?

Not sure how that slant back could work. Maybe cut it above the swage line as I did, or cut the whole back free. If you can handle a roof chop then it might not be much worse than that - it´s just one enormous pie cut after all LOL. Just wanted to ask - are you Hell-bent on keeping it a four door, because a two door might be interesting looking.

You're right, stock wheels are 16". I don't actually own a Prefect but it's an idea I've had kicking around in my head for a while so it's great to see what it might look like. I'm no metal man unfortunately, my own Pop is chopped but I had a proper body guy do it (his second chop, practiced on my buddy's Pop first). It would be interesting to see a two-door version (Ford did actually make some 2-door Prefects), if I could ever afford to build it it would make a nice companion to this...

2 door Prefect panel, wire wheels with whitewalls, dropped, chopped, with tucked bumpers...:p I also moved the back axle back about 2" or so to center it better in the wheelwell.

No idea how you´d pull this off - maybe the roof from an old Volvo PV. Looks pretty good though.

Hi, I was wondering if you could chop my model a a few inches and give it a few different paint schemes? Satin red with white scallops, baby blue with chrome steel wheels on both.
