Now, if you could blend in those headlights to not look like they were added to a Studebaker.

 

1958 was a crazy year in the automotive world...

 

So... T&A Flathead is building this '48 ragtop here on the H.A.M.B., and James D wondered what it would look like with a '55 Chevy grille. Here's as close an angle as I could find. Anybody feel like meshing some pixels?

I'm thinking the width of the Chevy surround would be nearly the same as the outside of the Ford surround (or maybe a skosh wider). Hopefully, the headlights will help with scale. Thanks in advance!

 

I´m not sure about the scale of this, so you may find that it needs stretching or narrowing to fit, but I think it works.

 

It WAS done in concept in the little Rod and Custom magazine in the late fifties

Since no one else has taken this one on...
I am guessing that what is on there are maybe 15s so I just replaced the wheels, using the tires you have there, and scaled each tire/wheel up s lightly. Maybe someone else will give you something better but if not, this might help ...
