thanks for the quick mock. i have a little time before they start painting. they're getting down with the patch panels now that it's stripped down.

i'm def going with this color. i think it'll be a litter more darker though. i like where it looks like it will be.

OK, slightly off the usual HAMB stuff but anyone wanna drop this Jeep Forward Control and maybe put some Halibrands or something along that style? I have a 1951 FC and am not into the 4x4 thing at all. Thanks.

Chopped, dropped, sectioned, with a very, very mild rake. I liked these wheels the best (they were at the right angle :D)

I feel so bad for that Willys. :(
Its like seeing a tough dog wearing a Christmas sweater.
Please leave it alone until you decided your totally bored with it and sell it to someone who would appreciate it for what it is.
P.S. This is me biting my lip.

LOL, that's the good thing about photochopping: with a few clicks it's like it never happened... I'd think the feasibility of dropping that rig, much less doing anything else to it, combined with its intrinsic value, would prevent my "version" from coming to fruition. I do have to admit though that I do kinda like it:p

Here's my HHR Panel before....and what it's gonna look like. Lowered with smoothies, bullets where the foglights were, and blacked out head lights

Nate, Nate, Nate, I almost flamed you for posting your HHR....
#1 its way too new for this site.
#2 that car is pointless unless you own a dog washing company.

.....However I checked out your profile and Jesus-Titty-F-N-Christ
    your illustrations are really great!!!
That being said, welcome to the HAMB and I hope to see your work posted on the Friday Art show on a regular basis. __Trout

Holy Cow Nate! I thought the same thing as trashed did, what the hell's with the HHR?

Man! Your artwork rocks! If you haven't done so yet, you should head over to the art group, you'd be right at home there!

P.S., I hope you don't mind, but I saved a copy of your drag VW bus, that is too cool!

Thanks for the chop job! I love it. As for you Trashed, fear not. That's not a pic of my FC, mine is rusted and beat and has no running gear. If I left it alone any longer it would return to the earth. And as it happens, I do appreciate it for what it is, a good starting point. Well, a starting point anyhow. I've already saved a CJ2A and a Unimog so fiddling with a used up FC won't hurt my feelings at all.

If someone has a chance, I'd like to see this photoshop pic photoshopped... again. It was done here on the HAMB a long time ago, but I'd like to change a couple things.

Taller front tire (it looks like a space saver spare right now) & maybe a short wheelbase like the Willys gasser trucks had "back in the day". And if you could change the color to a smoke grey.

    Thanks in advance!

Okay, I lowered the cab to reduce the size of the rocker panel, sectioned the cab 2", pancaked the hood slightly, raised the bed rail, all to try and get the proportions more even. Dropped the whole thing about 2" also. I traded out your front wheel for an 18 or 19" version. The color is more of a brown I guess, looking at it now:D

Edit: how about a reddish/light burgandy? ...or a darker, shinier red?:D

I know I know it's an HHR... I had to sell a fun car and get a gas saver..I got an hour drive to work every day... sux but it's the only thing I would drive new. I'm lettering it up and puting my logo and info on the side. Glad you like my artwork though... I've been working my ass off...I got a lot more on the way that is gonna blow some minds!

Awesome, Thanks for clearing that up.
By the way if your responsible for that wooden shoe in your avatar, that willys is in good hands after-all. That thing is perfection!!!

  28. Anyone got time to try this one in copper with a pearl white (or maybe white metalflake) top?
If you can, throw on some chrome smoothies with bullit caps and lose the dummy spot lights. That will really help me visualize my latest project - currently stripped for paint. I need some motivation to get crankin on it!!;)

    Thanks in advance.
