The photo looks a little blurry- It'll probably get done quickly with a better photo. :)

Anyone want to take a stab at this? I want to color it the same as the green stripe sitting there with black scallops, maybe white pinstriping separating them. I also have lake pipes for it. I would love to skirt her and sit her in the grass.

Here's one- not sure if it's along the lines of what you're thinking, but it's a start...

hey guys can some one scallop the car for me the same green as the top please

  19. Man you guys are good !!!

Thanks in advance for your help on this one

I have been doing some pencil mock ups and have narrowed it down to several ideas. I would like to see a photo before I start cutting. I will be running a 31" rear tire lined up in the 34" opening, and a PO 2-1/2" chop, Dont want to run the fenders.

problem to solve .... is that the bottom body line will be 18" off the ground and sitting on a 6" frame giving me the 12" of ground clearance, typical "Highboy" I want it about 3" lower, but lowering the wheel arch body line past the top of rear tire is not an option for me.

I would like to see the rear wheel well moved up or sectioned about 3" or an amount that looks good and proportionate to you.

next i would like to see the rear wheel arch left alone but 3" added above the lower body line, lowering that area between the rear wheel opening and cowl closer to the ground by 3" and the 6'' of frame 3" lower. I'm sure this will be easier to pull off in real life but I'm a bit worried it may look kinda funny.

Stock body photos and drawing in the thumbs.

and a hamb pic of one sitting up on a chassis thanks drgrcr50

I THINK I understood what you are after...I channeled the body roughly 3" over the frame, keeping the rear wheel reveal in the same place. I also ended up dropping the radiator about 6-8" as it looked way too high from this angle...is this right?:D

  24. Merry Christmas electrodude!

sorry the change is so sublte I cant tell

option #1 the roof line would also be closer to the ground , the wheel arch would be moved vertically closer to the rear1/4 window

and option #2 the roof line would be the same distance from the ground, the arch stays factory but 3'' added above the bottom or lowest body line making the door, cowl and only the small front most part of rear1/4 3'' taller but lower to the ground

sounds like you took a stab at #1

The pics are pretty close, that's why I put both the original and the photochop together, that way you can click "next" and flip between them. I think if you notice the frame reveal that it shows the greatest difference:D

I started to screw around with idea #2, but to be honest it started looking like a real turd:( Adding that much to the car seriously screws with the proportions...

If you can, find a straight on side view, that might give a better representation of the change.

  26. here ya go , Better ?
They are kinda hard to find I had to borrow this one
    Thanks Druss32 for the pic

I couldn't really do much of anything with the supplied photo so I found another picture to work with.

Personally I prefer the lighter color over the black, just my opinion.

    Alright, stab #2 :D

    first pic: stock photo

second pic: body channeled 3" over frame with stock rear wheel reveal

third pic: same as second but with the wheel reveal raised back to where it would have been with the body unchanneled

(I painted on the body just to remove some of the distraction:D)
