    Here is the scene with the late model cars replaced with some stuff we've seen here before. I didn't do the pin stripes 'cause I see that they have already been done.

    They are aftermarket stainless steel 2 piece hub cap well i guess 3 piece. added the spinner to the center cap that goes to the larger cap that snaps to the steel rim, yes it looks like its got a strip but thats where the center cap is attached to the main cap. Sorry about the confusion but thats what happens when you deal with a old person and I appreciate patence.

    Trying to decide if I can make this "driveable" or not, so I'm here asking for some help...how about an altitude adjustment, some saltflats (or your choice of wheels) and redlines or just blackwalls...Thanx. DaStude.jpg

    Here is one I did a few years ago. Unbolt the fins from a Stude Hawk and bolt them up to the Lark. Lower it, paint it, and add the wheels of your choice. Instant custom!

    For Southerncad - here's a '60 Lark Hardtop drawing I did many years ago. Stock Lark trim from rear of door forward. Modified '55 Chevy trim and paint divider on rear quarter. Also has after-market Lark fender skirts.

    Thank you so much! Maybe someone else wants to play around with some different colors? I like that color and scallops, but my wife does not.

    I found this photo. It’s pretty close to my idea on the hood/center grill. IMG_4843.jpeg

    @Randman
    Here is a different take on the baby Lincoln. In 1942, DeSoto introduced the first flip-up headlights on a mass produced car. Lincoln planned to copy the idea and designed the front with a flat panel. When the bean counters nixxed the idea, Lincoln was forced to use the sunken headlights. I put the flip-ups back in place and used the DeSoto grille since I already had one in the digital garage.

    Thanks, but the scallops are the main thing she is complaining about. My daughter would probably love that purple.

    I welcome other grill ideas. That Desoto is a good choice.

    If I am going to put Merc style headlights on it, I’ll just put a whole Merc front clip on it. There are a whole lot of “Mercs” out there that started life as baby Lincolns. Remember I said I might make round headlight covers? Removing the headlights might be one of the last changes I make, so let’s not get fixated on it. I believe Photoshop is a great way to explore ideas.

    If and when I fill the headlight holes, the headlights will be located at the those bullets on the Dodge grille halves. I may increase their size with other, larger bullets, maybe 57 Chevy maybe bigger, like a 56 Packard.

Just want to see if it can work. Car in question is 4inch chop, slightly raked channel, tire rake.

    edit: maybe one can play a little with the pic of Eli’s coupe. A slight channel, a bit more rake and a full hood.

    Thats badass. But i would like less channel. Dont like the rear tires over the body. But hey, it Works.
