i second that... you can already smell the 60 second burnout and poof!!! even half the show would be great..but i wouldnt place odds on more then 4 mins....
Johnnycola, You have found out that I am also a crossdresser. I'd like to think that I am pretty hot. I don't really have to worry about tucking away my small penis but lashing the beer belly down was a real trick. I hope a bunch of rock crawler guys stay up to watch the Pileup coverage and make fun of all of the "Old Junk" on their message board the next day.
You were hot. You remind me of the bass player from Poison. She was hot too. Supposedly it is a 7 minute segment. But I know they didn't get to use all of the 6 feature trucks. They only got to showcase 1 truck, but I was assured that the segment is true to what the Pileup is about.
OK, so let me get this straight cuz I DVR'ed it. I don't have to watch it tonight cuz the PileUp isn't on what I taped right?? For all of us that get our TV viewing suggestions from the HAMB, please keep us updated on when it WILL broadcast
You shoulda watched the next show they had the assholes from Von Dutch Originals on.They also build choppers too! Made me want to puke!!
I'm starting to think Plowboy really IS a farmer. Now I know he LOOKS like one, and has farmer gloves for his mastur, err, beer drinking hand. Wonder if this VHS porn has sheep?
lets hope nttin goes wrong with my vcr.... last time worked great... now thats its on, prolly eat my damn tape LOL... thanks fer the heads up...
Yeah, so I was driving around with friends, looking for someplace to cause mischeif and one of my other friends call and tells me the pileup was on espn2. I definately missed it. How was it? Was my boyfriend Plowboy on? I told him we where gonna have to be exclusive now that hes famous and all the little boys are after him. Nick
Damn dude I thought that our one night together was special now what am I am just a piece of meat to you. I guess Plowboy does have a nicer breast than me...... Shoe
Short but sweet. Captain Fancy Pants did a good job as star of the show. I thought they (the segment producers) did a pretty crappy job at picking out 'traditional' trucks to feature... one with faux patina and another glass bodied one with a CD player and AC... there were far better representations of what the Pileup is about they could have chosen. But its nice to see the Chrome Czars get a little recognition.
I am a failure. I guess slurred speech and nervous twitching don't make good TV. Ha Ha Ha It was probably for the best. Come on guys, the midwest has always been known for it's fauxtina and fibergalss. Keepin' it real in the 217, yo.
What? No Plowedboy? What kinda crap is that? It may have been that obscene lump in your pants........
Hes not ol' skool enough paint and disc brakes!! When you build your next one put power windows in it and primer it.
Poor Aaron. Now's he's been snubbed by OSR and ESPN. If any truck represents the Pileup, it is the Spacetruck. I thought I conveyed that. It should have been obvious when he asked each of us what is the baddest truck here and we all individually answered the Spacetruck. The trucks selected were a bit more mainstream modern traditional if that makes any sense. Trucks that were more easy to relate to by the masses and marketable to advertisers. Remember, if it really SUCKED, it wouldn't have gotten into the show in the first place. I knew they would show the SoCal truck though, cause face it, they KNOW SoCal. They live there. At least the '34 had a flathead. When Rebecca Grant says "hunnert car pileup" I feel funny inside. They briefly showed us as a group, but Captain Fancypants got all the air time. LOL. At least some of his interview was behind MY car. Overall and visually, I think it portrayed the show well. They showed more cars than I thought they would. Several HAMBers were visible throughout. And they used our song during the Hollywood Hot Rods segment.
i agree, when my ol man was a youngster, he could drive 8 miles and meet one car all they way. now you cant even get on the highway by our haouse without waitin fer 20 damn carz.. and we live in the boonies..now you need disc brakes on or you may get smoked... i love olskool and stickin with traditons. but when my 53 is goin to have my wife and 2 amazing kids in the back, you bet im converton to disc on front.. no risking them over tradition. they will always mean more then a car..well, the kids anyway!!LOL thanks.....breeder
Overall, the portrayal was pretty positive. But they probably picked the worst three examples of traditional cars on the entire lot. I think I gagged when the one guy was explaining how he did the faux patina on the '34 pickup. Same thing happened again when the other guy was showing off the power windows on his SoCal truck. If the ESPN people show up next year, make sure they have an escort at all times.
I can always use a hug. I think they should have showed Littleman's truck and Dave Fleetwood's truck. Those are the 2 that "had it" in my opinion. I don't subscribe to making things more palatable for the mainstream. Isn't that what the pileup is supposed to be against? Sanitizing stuff is for the other shows. I am a fuck up and proud of it. I give it a C.....I would give it a D- if I were in it. Ha Ha Ha The only way they would have gotten an A is if Evel would have done it.
