  1. Maybe they should come to Joplin and see what hot rodders do at 2AM in a hotel parking lot?:D

Was Hollywood Hot Rod on it too? The Chick that did alll the editing invited me to see the screening but I couldn't make it...She just got MFS vol 1,2,3
and she was freaking out..So i'm going to try to pitch a real Hot Rod show
    to ESPN 2...

  3. I wish ya success on that one Evel. Let us know who to swamp with emails at ESPN2?:D

That's great Evel... good luck with that!!

The Pileup is still not mainstream. But it has grown by leaps and bounds and is getting noticed. The overall vibe of the show was portrayed... showing the criteria, listening to Magnet explain the criteria and showing the cars that got in. As long as we stay true to our roots/beliefs, then the Pileup will continue to be a great show that people will still feel just as passionate about as the first one in the rain at Drew's shop. TV coverage and publicity won't change that. If anything, that more mainstream awareness is going to make it that much harder to get in because we will have to tighten the noose on the criteria.

So I guess just keep in mind you weren't watching something like Mad Fab... created by one of our own. It was a show created from the outside looking in, and from that perspective, I think it was a success.

Me and Jennie caught it, i thought they did a good job on it, but like others wished they had picked a few better trucks to be interviewed, but the ones that were shown were pretty presentable to "normal" people.

Dylans A sedan drag car was at the very bigging of the show, it was neat to see it cruising by the camera.

Just saw it from the ol Tivo - it was cool!

Now I can put a face with Mike's name. The hostess has some seriously fake cans! :)

  7. I missed it. I set the vcr for hours in case they had a schedule change. Does anybody have a copy that they loaded on their computer that we could download as divx or wma?

I think we got a hacker in our ranks!

What I meant to say is that you're a handsome sort and thanks again for the pizza!

  9. Damn that was great all the knuckel drager footage!
That sucked ass!! Why even bother putting us on there, I didn't hear any music and didn't see any links or band names.
